Georgia Sam, tenía una nariz sanguinolenta,
el Departamento de Bienestar no le quería dar ropas,
le preguntó al pobre Howard, “¿Dónde puedo ir?”

Sam dijo, “Tío, dímelo rápido, tengo que escapar.”
El viejo Howard tan sólo señaló con su pistola,

Mack el chivato dijo al jefe Louie,
“Tengo cuarenta cordones de zapatos rojos,blancos y azules
y un millar de teléfonos que no suenan.
¿Sabes donde puedo deshacerme de todas estas cosas?”
Y Louie el Rey dijo,“Déjame pensar un minuto, hijo”,
y dijo, “sí, pienso que se puede hacer,
sólo llévalo todo abajo, a la Autopista 61”

La quinta hija en la duodécima noche
le dijo al primer padre que las cosas no iban bien,
“El color de mi cara -le dijo- es demasiado blanca.”
Él dijo, “Ven aquí que te vea a la luz.”
Dice, “Hmm, estás bien,
déjame que le cuente a la segunda madre lo que ha ocurrido.”
Pero la segunda madre estaba con el séptimo hijo,
y ambos estaban fuera, en la Autopista 61.

El vagabundo errante estaba muy aburrido,
estaba intentando organizar la próxima guerra mundial,
encontró un promotor que casi levitó del suelo,
y que dijo, “Nunca antes se me contrató en algo parecido,
pero sí, pienso que puede hacerse fácilmente,
sólo pondremos afuera algunas gradas al sol,
y la armaremos en la Autopista 61”
